I shot my first regional IDPA match today and it was a hoot
The course was well set up and challenging. The weather was picture perfect and the roasted whole pig was delicious. I'm a happy camper I decided to join this organization and participate in the events, even though the ammunition gets a little expensive.
I'm particularly happy with the performance of my Kimber .45 Pro Raptor. I had some issues with FTF before I had 300 rounds through it. Guess it's broken in now since the last 400 rounds or so have been failure free.
Next to attending a training school, this is an excellent and fun way to improve your shooting and self defense skills.
