Default IDPA holster suggestions

I folks im getting ready to shoot idpa,was supposed to yesterday but had to work. My guestion is what holster for my 1911 would u folks recomend and y. Everybody is telling me to shoot my glock 36 but i am more comfortable with my 1911's.

You probably want kydex for ease of use.

Take a look at what is being used at the next match. Also look at the magazine carriers.

For your first match, you could probably get by with an Uncle Mike's with the strap removed.

I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

I just called my local gun shop an they have several bladetech's in stock for my 1911's and they have the mag pouches also. Ups just ran got 3 new tripp mags i ordered. Going after work to pick up my holster and do some shooting, got to get the feel for it. Thanks guys

I just ordered a Fobus holster and mag holder for the same reason and gun. Should have it in a few days. I'll post my thoughts after I have a chance to use it.

I finally got to use the new finish holster. After I adjusted the tension screw of works great. I got the mag holder to go with too. After leaving magazines in of for a week or so of was fine. O was pretty tight at first.
