Shooting lousy on occassion can be a good thing. It's just a simple reminder that anyone can have a bad day, no matter how much we train.
It also tells us that no matter how good we are or perceive ourselves to be, there is always room for improvement.

Don't let it get you down. Take it and use it to your best advantage.

I just shot an IDPA regional match two weeks ago. Believe me, you did better than I did! I finished darn near dead last. I do believe I will improve with some new sites I can see better (eyes are very old) and practice, practice and more practice. At the match there was lots of blood spilled, mine

Shooting behind cover, the back of my hand would rest on the splintering wood door / window frames as I shot. To make a long story short, didn't notice it until I had blood all over my shooting vest, shirt and pants. Good thing I carry a first aid kit in my range bag

But I had a hoot anyway. Love shooting and IDPA matches. Have fun & stay safe.

By-the-way, nice video too!

There are days when we take for granted
that every shot would be a bulls-eye. Only
to find out we hardly hit the darn target at all.
But then several days off and back at the range
we could dot i's in all our targets so it seems.
