this is only [IMG] [/IMG]my 2nd season. i use the simplest, cheapest gun of anybody in my club: new england firearms pardner model, $125 used. my best is 20 of 25. i usually score in the mid-high teens. my advice: don't wear yer baseball cap. mine blocks my vision too much. & enjoy it

Great invite Bob! Wish I could make it.
Our 4 man team placed 3rd in a 40 team fund-raising sporting clay shoot this year. These teams were "stacked" with good shooters - Our team was Father-Son Father-Son!

I shoot a self maintained average of 91% with a handicap at 24 yds. My brother is an ATA member and we both shoot a lot, but I never joined due to schedulin conflicts. I was going to join this year, but IDPA is calling my name since I don't get to shoot the departments toys anymore.

i turned in my ata and nssa cards years ago when i realized i was paying for the celebrities to maintain their addiction and fame.
im currently just an aging fun shooter holding a 96.7 combined hoa.
when i shot on the navy team, i held a 99.7 hoa and was rated AAA.

I used to shoot competitive skeet and shot a lot of registered birds. Never placed very high in a tournament and never got above A class. However, I entered the Florida State Games which was not sanctioned by the NSSA and won the bronze medal in the 55 and older class. The following year, I won the gold medal. Soon after that, I completely lost interest in shooting shotguns and concentrated on shooting centerfire rifles and reloading for them.

Well I'll be darned....
I live in NY where I have competed in Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays since I was 12 (9 years) and now I'm a member of the Lindenwood University Shotgun Sports team in St. Charles, MO...
I've gotten as high as Class A in Sporting Clays, but because I don't shoot as much at school I have been set back to D I think. I have never competed much in Trap or Skeet but have ran 50 straight in both.
At one point we had an SCTP group of 15 kids that traveled to San Antonio, TX and Sparta, IL for the nationals...good days.
It would be a bit of a drive but a friend of mine on the team from Georgia and I might like to come down and meet y'all.
