I would say if you can't shoot better than a 2" group at 100 yards with a production rifle there's something wrong and I don't mean it's you. Does it consistently group in the same place or are they all over. If their all over the target it could be your cross hairs are broke loose.

What model Savage do you have? I have a Model 19 NRA and it will shoot that size group if I do my part.
