O.K., I'll take your word on that since I'm unfamiliar with "mall ninja" culture.

How about, SIGSAUER.com?

"The SIG SAUER® P226® is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. Designed as SIG’s entrant in the military trials to replace the 1911,............The P226 Navy is identical to the pistol carried by the U.S. Navy SEALs-the fleet's special warfare operators. The railed P226 chambered in 9mm and engraved with an anchor on the left side of the slide is the official sidearm of the SEALs."

Or are they also missinformed? Maybe you should contact them and let them know they are also wrong.

I didn't reply to this post to start a pissing contest, like I said a simple web search is all that was needed, but I guess it's easier to just start sniping.

You guys are amazing,...........shoot whatever the hell you want, go get a 9mm hi-point for all I care.

What?
1st, your list includes the SIG 226????????
2nd, you're quoting info off a spec ops enthusiast web forum, and I'm the one who got sniped at for quoting a "mall ninja" site?

Enjoy your snipefest guys, I thought this was a friendly discussion about 9mm IDPA guns, but I guessed wrong,.....ignorance is bliss.

1). A Vetted SOF military member, of that forum website and another SOF forum website, where SEALS can't play.

2). Mk 24 Mod 0 (SIG P226 Navy, 9x19mm) (Naval Special Warfare)
SIG P229R DAK (.40 S&W) (USCG) Carry weapons for the damn Coast Guard and Navy Special Warfare are not SEALs. Go here and read about SWCC Official U.S. Navy SWCC Information Web Site

3). With all due respect sir, I suggest you learn a little about who's really saving your ass out there and what they are using to do it with, before you run off at the mouth.

I'm sure you could do a simple web search to verify that the SEALs have used the SIG and that they are still in service, but here's a little qoute from THEIR own website,.........

NavySEALS.com;
The M11 Sig Sauer P-228 was introduced in 1989. It is a compact version of the Sig P-226, just 7.1 inches long and only 1.5 inches wide. The Navy SEALs and Special Boat Teams consider it a favorite, and use it as their standard carry pistol as it is small, light, durable, accurate and easy to conceal. The M11 is a recoil-operated, semi-automatic pistol that fires a 9mm NATO round in both single- and double-action modes from a 13-round magazine.

In 2004, SIGARMS of Exeter, NH released a limited edition of specially serialized P-226 pistols produced to the exact same specifications as those which have been the official sidearm of the Navy SEALs since 1986. Designated SIG P226-9-NAVY, this unique version includes special phosphate corrosion-resistant finish on internal parts, contrast sights, a slide engraved with an anchor to designate them as Naval Special Warfare pistols, a unique serial # starting with NSW 0001, and certificate of authenticity.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME LOL REALLY You think that is the web site for Navy Seals? LOL BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Really your not kidding are you!!!!!!

I think you guys are missing the FACT that the SEALS started using the SIG226 in 1986 (loooong before the HK) instead of the BARRETTAs the rest of our armed forces were issued to replace the 1911.

I wasn't stating that;

SEALs ONLY use SIGs, or that SEALs CURRENTLY use SIGs.

Just that in FACT, they have used them and it is a GOOD gun.

Let the petty sniping resume,.....I'm starting to understand the "mall ninja" quote earlier in this thread, as I seem to be surounded by you, I hope you guys don't hurt yourselves.....grow up and get over it.

I am just saying.

The Hell did Navy Seals get injected into this thread?!?!

I got news for you, the SeALs are some good shooters, but they aren't the best ones out there. Bringing them up in this conversation adds nothing.
