Default First competition shoot today

Finally competed in my first ever competition shooting match today. It was a high power match (iron sights), so I took my M1 Garand and had a blast. I only got 332 out of 500, but the experience and fun were well worth the trip to the range.

I don't know anything about competition shooting but it doesn't sound like a bad score for a first time. Next time you go, you'll do better. It sounds like a lot of fun and something I considered trying.

I'm glad you had a good time. Keep at it.

It was all at 100 yards. The paper targets simulated 100, 300 and 600 yards.
