DefaultCompetitions?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and want to get started in shooting. My question is, where are some competitions I ca get into, I'm in Illinois. I want to get into.22 shooting, but anykind of shooting is okay. Also how old do you have to be to enter most contests?

Thanks guys

Go here:
Where To Shoot | Find a Range

It is a list of all the shooting clubs in Illinois.

Look for one near your home and contact them.

Ask them if they have a Junior Shooting Program:
NRA Smallbore for .22 caliber rifles or Rimfire benchrest shooting.

NRA has been careful about sponsoring Pistol competition for Juniors. It is best to learn safety rules with the rifle first.

DefaultIf that does not work . . .

Go here . . .
Where To Shoot | Home

. . . and search for Illinois.

Then look for ranges that have rifle shooting.

Good luck with your look up.

Joe :-)
