Competition Gun
What gun(s) do you use for competitions?
Do you use it because it's required? I've watched an AR-15 ONLY competition once. Are most competitions firearm model specific? |

I use a BSA made Enfield M1917 action with a Gaillard 6.5mm tube in 6.5-'06

I'm not a big comp. shooter but every now and then I'll shoot in a Garand competition. Guess what gun I use ;)

STI 2011. .40cal. IPSC limited (B). There is no other platform that does as well.

USPSA Production class = Glock 34.
3 gun tac iron class = Glock 34, Bushmaster XM15 16" bbl, Beretta 1201FP. Pin and steel shoots = Rimfire W/ optics SW 22A with Aimpoint, Rimfire W/O optics Ruger 22/45, Centerfire W/O optics HK USP. |
I shoot handgun, Carbine and 3-Gun Comps along with being the 3-gun MD. Competition shooting is what you are comfortable shooting. It has taken me a few years to come up with a what works and what is just stupid. But here is a list of what I shoot in comps.
