Almost made expert
Shot the IDPA classifier today. Nearly made expert but I messed up the 3rd stage pretty bad.

Way to go! Nice thing about my qualification (Novice) is there's only one way to go... UP! I nicknamed myself "Dennis the Procedural". I hate to be the first one at complicated stage(s) where you have to stay behind cover, move to multiple locations, emergency reload, tactical reload and go to numerous stages and shoot a designated number of rounds at numerous targets! Makes me want to shoot all the targets with a pair of hands showing and painted black also, that way I know I got em all :D

Nice video too!

I have never shot in a competition, and probably will not. But it sure looks like a heck of a lot of fun.:D

Congrats on your score! Best of luck in the future!

LOL @ Dennis. Match shooting is really fun. It does not matter how you do, as long as your having fun. I beat myself up over my performance a little but only because I know when I dont do my best. Usually that is because of a lack of practice, which is obviously my own fault. I always feel better the next day though because not many people have the oppurtunity to get out and do this. For that, I feel lucky and priveledged.

Practice makes perfect. Just keep at it and apply the principles accordingly and you will see improvement. Happy shooting.

Keep working at it. That looks like Central FL Rifle and Pistol Club. I have shot a few matches there over the years.

Bongsao1, what weapon were you shooting? I couldn't identify it in the video.

Thanks for posting and letting us get a first-hand look at what's required!
