To the OP,
Cost to have a Trust done seams to run about 300 but there are a lot of variables that can change that price
Benefits.
No CLEO
No prints
And it helps with disbursement of your NFA items should you pass on.

Those are the basics

Contact Sterling Arsenal, located in Sterling, VA. Nick or Luis
They are customers of mine. Great guys and would be glad to help you out.

I bought a YHM Mite .22 can and got sign off by the Sheriff it took me 8 months to get my toy. Didn't look into a trust. I hear people have luck with off the shelf software for Trusts.

I think what he said is talk to your local class 3 dealers, they will know who will sign off, be it police chief, or sheriff.

I didnt go trust.

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

He said "Yeah, I feel the same way about Glocks" . Idk what that has to do with this conversation but insults to glocks are always welcome in my book.

Well in Texas it's pretty easy just get your form 4 from your class 3 and go to local law enforcement here we all go to local sherrif get him or chief deputy to sign off and do fingerprints passport photo and make triplicate copies go back to class 3 dealer let them look over send 200 dollars in wit form and wait 90 to 120 days and your in. It is a shall issue item they cannot deny if you have your nose clean all taxes payed, don't owe child support, or have a felony, or any other infraction. Hope that helps.

"I hear people have BAD luck with off the shelf software for Trusts. "

There- fixed that for ya-

There have been a few cases where a trust established with a "one size fits all" software program does NOT fit- different forms in some states- and the BATF has gotten involved. Personally, would avoid like poison oak.
