Yeah my IOI was pretty friendly as well, but the first compliance inspection may not be that way from what I hear. I haven't had one yet, but some of the stories on the dealer forum are interesting to say the least.

I've been told that a time or two.

Meeting my inspector for the first time completely changed my outlook of the AFT. Sure he was all "Captain America" kinda stiff, but really just wanted to make sure I knew all I needed to know and gave me some great tips too.

BTW, If you ever have questions about legal stuff, my experience has been that theyre goddamned thrilled to answer your questions. So use the number on the card. dont be shy.

I got hit with a compliance inspection last year (I was told the system happened to flag me during a license renewal, just luck of the draw). It was done by the same friendly gal who did my initial interview and it was a piece of cake. She looked over the A&D book, 4473's, and reverified all state and local licenses. Made sure that what the book said was in stock was really there and that serial numbers matched up. Keep all your I's dotted and T's crossed and all should be fine.
