They had several weapons unacounted for and were not able to account for them when the ATF did an inspection of their records at thier facility. Reinstated? That I do not know? You are correct on your assumption on manufacturing a class III weapon. Since 1984 around May they can be produced by a licensed class III manufacturer of machine guns and destructive devices for law enforcement or government agencies "Only!". The only ones available to you and I are the ones that were produced prior to that date and also are legaly transfereable. $200 Federal SOT Stamp also required. An an additional $200 SOT Stamp for a Suppressor.

I read that Will and Steph cannot hold the license but it is held by some of the employees, which was supposedly part of the issue when Vince left the company.

I'd give an arm and a leg to shoot a Ma Duece or a MK 19 again, **** even a 240b. Once you have felt it you will never forget the feeling of holding that much firepower at your fingertips.

Looks like you and I may have fired some of the same ranges and boomers! I miss the big guns but not 10th Mountain. Happiness is seeing fort Drum in the rear view mirror!

Default Looney tunes...........

What evr sells. My late uncle had a 12 gauge Browning 5 shot that would go from semi to full auto........Thats when they put the plug on duck hunting...............I'd like to see someone handle a Benelli 12 gauge full auto, shooting 3.5'' magnum, 00 buck..........

In the episode the gun was made for Benelli as a showpiece(demonstration gun), they awarded it to their sponsored three gun shootist. With the proper licensing it is possible to convert a semi to full auto for demos. I've heard of similar types of work done to glocks to mimic the glock 18 for demonstration only for LE. The gun in the episode is probably registered to the Benelli corporation and has the shooter listed as caretaker or some legalese on a paper somewhere. If they built and filmed it, it's legal.
