I'm just wondering how the police got it when the sale was between to private individuals

He added that the private sales of the missile launch tube and other weapons illustrate the need for comprehensive background checks as proposed by President Barack Obama, as well as other regulations at the state level.
I would counter that it is the Fed Gov't who needs to be held more accountable for their weapons and not the civilian

Where is the BATF? Way back in the 1960s the Democrats forced thru the 1968 Safe Streets act. One provision in that bans crew operated weapons. Any weapon that requires the action of more than one person?
No one ever knew of a crew operated weapon being a problem. How can these buy backs be allowed "Gun Buy Back" Loop holes!! Ownership of stolen firearms is a felony? You can murder the clerk at the 7-11 on Saturday. On Sunday you can sell the gun at the Catholic Church?
It does save money for the crooks. They used to throw these stolen murder weapons in the river.

From what I've seen, it's not even a "firearm" or a expended tube. It's a training dummy. The bronze squares on the butt end and above the grip are marks of a training dummy.

LOL... Those training tubes are worthless, unless you're a Vietcong and plan to stuff them with grenades. They're not even a firearm.
Makes me sick that they think they can hype this up, like civilians are running around with surface to air missiles.

Close these "Buy Back Loop" holes. When they pass their law against private sales how can these groups buy and deal in firearms? How do they buy that many guns without an FFL? No BG checks?
