Default Quick silencerco osprey question

I am about to order the lone wolf 40 to 9mm conversion for my glock 23. I decided to go ahead and get the threaded barrel. After that I thought I should go ahead and get a suppresser while I'm at it.
I noticed with the osprey you can use a .45 suppresser and by changing a few parts shoot .40 and 9mm with it. My question is what would I need to go from using it on my XD45 to using it on my G23 with 9mm conversion, and how much dose it coust for the parts to convert it?

You will need a threaded barrel and then a thread adapter to convert to the thread pattern on the suppressor. Silencer store sells some. Silencer co might sell pistons with the correct threading as well.

Yes they do sell different pistons to fit different thread patterns.

That's not really what I'm asking. I'm trying to find out how much it is and what is needed to convert the .45 osprey to .40 or 9mm. I know how to get it on the gun. Also will there be a decrease in effectiveness if converting from .45 to .40 or 9mm?

You want to modify the suppressor itself? No chance of that. You will be shooting 9mm through a 45 hole. It will be louder than shooting 9mm through a 9mm can but a lot less than buying 2 cans!
I, for example, have shot 22lr through a 9mm can and it is very effective.

What he said... on a side note, I have the Osprey my HK USP well built, but it is a pain to get the adapter on the first time, and the gun with wolfs is so quiet you can hear the hammer drop and the slide operate...

The biggest factor in quietness is internal volume. The diameter of the hole doesnt play much role. The 45 osprey has more volume and will be a tiny bit quieter than a 9mm osprey.

For prices on accessories and parts check www.silencerco.com and hit their online store. If you cant find what ya need shoot em an email or call them. Their cs is superb on par with bcm vortex and dillon precision.

Not modify it myself. Silencerco has parts to convert a .45 osprey to .40 or 9mm. And a .40 osprey to 9mm. You pretty much take it apart and put in the .40 or 9mm parts. I'm just trying to see if anyone knows the cost of the parts.

I guess I will defer this question to someone who might know more. I do not own an osprey and have never seem one.
I do know you may get adapters to fit a 45 osprey on a 9mm or 40. Ospreys are sealed cans and baffles and end caps can't be replaced with 9mm or 40 specific parts.
I own a different silencer co suppressor and they are helpful people. I agree it would be wise to call them direct and ask.
