Found this bad boy on Strum a couple of weeks ago. I needed to touch it, took a couple weeks to look at it. It was really fine. Now I have to wait 4 or more months for trhe xfer. (Dam I hate the ATF)

No this is an orginal Smith and Wesson 76. The MK760 are copies of this weapon. It has been refinished about 6 years ago. It has one of those Moly coats on it. I'm trying to get intouch with the firm that actually didit. They refinish most of the Police dept weapons across the state.

I didn't mean any offence by my comment. It just looked like mine which is an MK. I know that the mk is a copy of the SW. The markings in the pic next to the mag looked like it was MK but it's either my eyes or your pic. Thats why I asked. I liked the coating and mine is the green park and was thinking of doing the black on my gun.

I'm still trying to get some more history on this weapon. I spent a long time researching my ANM2. It has a 28yr period, where, there is no record of it. Maybe some day I will find out, just like this S&W 76.

But on a seperate question, What is the ammo that your MK likes the best ? I need to start stocking up, because I do like to shoot my NFA guns once in a while.

I had been feeding it a straight diate of Selliers and Bellot. But with prices winchester WB. It runs great on both it. My UZI, MAC and Micro also chew the stuff up.
