That's the rub, isn't it!? lol! Minutes to load, seconds to empty. It's only 9mm, so not as expensive to shoot as others.
And you mean that LITERALLY!
The range where I shoot has a nice selection of full auto rentals. It's only 20 bucks to rent one for as long as you want, but the ammo is the wallet breaker.
They used to have a really cool .22 conversion full auto, but had to do away with it because it kept the range staff too busy clearing jams and cleaning it.
Let's all go shootin'!

This guy had the 22LR kit as well and it was always jamming on him. I went for the 9mm and 3-4 seconds later the box was gone. __________________ If the pain is lacking so is the discipline...

Yes, but the .22 was just TOO MUCH FUN!
As long as you didn't let up on the trigger, unloaded it completely on the first pull, it was unlikely to jam. It was the bursts that did it in.
I do see their point in letting it go, though. I just miss it terribly. |

Full auto is fun. The uzi is very controllable and with practice you can get really good groups. |

Uzi? Full auto?
No wonder you look so damn happy, GunLady!
/sigh

That looks fun! I remember drooling over the uzi at the local gun store when i was a kid (probably semiauto).
Good choice in shirts too; a buddy's girlfriend almost went topless last time at the shooting pit due to a v-neck & a hot 9mm case, poor girl. I am glad things cooled down before we all got flashed. __________________ Dead Bears, the only good kind.

I didn't understand the post until I noticed you were from down under. Ah, that must really suck these days.
I adore Australia - except for the firearms restrictions. I wish you guys would do something about that. If I can help, just say.
If you're ever in South Carolina USA, I'll take ya shootin' and buy your rounds for a session. |

It's a good choice because I've worn the blister, too. |

Indeed it does suck...But we've never had the sort of liberal gun laws like the US historically has, so it's a largely societal difference which I can't see ever changing, alas! The whole national mindset is radically unlike yours re guns.
Hey if I ever get to South Carolina that would be an honour, GunLady especially that Uzi...in that case just try & stop me heh __________________ Illigitimi Non Carborundum - Don't let the bastards grind you down

... speaking of clothing, I had removed my over-shirt at the range. The leather strap and rig visible on and under the left shoulder is one of my cc pieces. It has nothing to do with the uzi (for anyone who was wondering). |
