I go out of my way to support my LBS's (local gun shops) HOWEVER- I collect older rifles. Out of production for 60-70 years- or more. You take those where you find them. When buying remotely, you have to add in shipping and FFL fees (which I got an 03 C&R FFL to take care of THAT)
What we have here is... failure- to communicate.

Default I love my local shop but

they don't carry saiga's and wanted well over the website price to order one. There were a few at the local gun show but not near as many as a few months back did they stop importing the rifles 2? The reason I bought one online was because
1. I never have and wanted to see how difficult
2. 350 for the gun plus ship and fee's = less then the gun show
3 all the local shops i frequent pissed me off by saying they wouldn't get the rifle for a competitive price
