Default Looking for a FFL

That dose transfers in the Annapolis area of Maryland. I have gone to three shops even the one where i have bought all my preview's guns and all refuse to do transfers because they don't make a profit?

Go to gunbroker.com, and auctionarms.com. On their home pages they have a "find a FFL" function. You put in your zip code, and it pulls up FFLs that have registered with those sites as being willing to performs transfers. Many also list their fees they charge.

it doesnt make any sense. its free money for em with like 0 effort. no overhead no shipping costs etc. any ffl that doesnt do transfers is pretty insane. couple of xfers covers the ffl costs for the year in short order and has a good chance of the customer buying the money making accessories and ammo.

Too bad you don't live in FL.
There may be FFL holders who are not listed in the phone book as such.

Bud's Gun Shop has a list of FFL holders also.

That is not bad. I've heard of $75.00 and more (just for transfers).

Default Looking for FFL?

I have used gunbroker in the past to find FFL transfer dealers and have had good results.

Many gun shops tell me that they only make 10% on a firearms sale so $40 or so is just about their average profit so I don't understand their hesitancy either. However, if you have a gun shop who stands behind you when you have an issue with a firearm, is it worth $40 to you to jeopardize that relationship? Just food for thought.
