Default Getting an FFL in New York?

I have a quick one here...For an FFL also the dealer's license , what procedure do I have to follow if I'm in the united states on a student visa? Here's hoping for a response and the solution to my query... Cheers.

I just answered you same question on the other post. I believe if you are on student visa or even business visa, no you can't. But to be sure, check out your local laws or call the BATF.

I didn't find any information regarding my question in that page though... But I would still be inclined to figure out how I can be a dealer being a non-US citizen... A non US citizen can operate a business in the US and pay taxes on the company's behalf... Couldn't I get a license then? Thanks for the earlier response though

Although this is from Duke, it applies to all students on visas.

Not to be an a$$hole and don't take this personally, but until you are a US citizen in my honest opinion you should not have the right to bear arms. The constitution was not written for foreigners going to school here it was written for citizens. I wish you well in your studies and hope you have no issues getting your citizenship and staying here and prospering and then getting your ffl if that is what you choose to do.
My opinions do not reflect those of ftf or Obama supporters.
