there is no magic formula for obtaining an FFL.
1. go to ATF Online - Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
2. click on FORMS on the left hand side of the page.
3. Click on Distribution Center Order Form in the big blue box.
4. pick out your form
5. fill out information.
6. submit and wait for them to get there. Takes anywhere from 30 to 60 days. |
My process was easier than that:
Step One: Call ATF and ask for forms
Step Two: Get forms out of mailbox
Step Three: Fill out forms, get photos and fingerprints
Step Four: Mail forms, photos, fingerprints to ATF and CLEO w/ Money Order to ATF
Step Five: Wait for phone call so ATF agent (civilian) comes and inspects your premises
Step Six: Wait for FFL to show up in the mail.
