Don't take my word for it,bc apparently this Guy may prove me wrong... but here in Tennessee you only have to be 21 to buy from dealers, but in a private sale of any rifle, shotgun,or handgun the buyer only has to be a legal adult (18) and from the same state as the seller if its a handgun. Here some ranges you have to be 21 to shoot handguns due to their insurance policies, and some have no problem with an 18 year old shooting there, here our Tennessee wildlife resource agencies range lets 18 year olds shoot handguns unaccompanied by anyone else.

To my knowledge the restrictions on buying handguns from an ffl are laws restricting dealers from selling to persons under 21,says nothing about a legal adult having to be 21 to buy handguns in private sales or to own them.

I do have 1 more ? For you... In CT you cant have more than 2 "evil" parts on an AR so how about a shotgun? Just yesterday I put an ATI collapsable pistol grip stock on my 870. You have to have a pinned stock on an AR..Does it also apply to shotguns as well?
