If you're saying that the weapon has a 14" barrel, then it's 21. Anything under 16" basically isn't supposed to be classified as a rifle, therefore has to be listed as a handgun. If it's an SBR, then you'd still have to have the stamp from ATF to posess it over just age. |

Only rifles and shotguns may be transferred to an 19 yr old. All "other" must be 21. So SBRs, SBS's, DDs, machine guns, AOWs and suppressors- which are ALL "other" go to 21 yr olds. __________________ What we have heah is.... failure to communicate. |

Federal law dictates a purchaser must be 18 for long guns and 21 for handguns FROM A LICENSED DEALER.
Individuals may purchase from each other at 18 for ANY firearm. __________________ I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?
Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns? |

That's what I forgot. State law may supercede federal age limits. __________________ I could make a list of a bunch of guns i have, or "have", or wish I had. Why would one feel compelled to provide that infornation freely? Do you feel the need to show off? Is it some immature game of oneupsmanship?
