DefaultPosting pictures

I expect this has been asked often but how do I post pictures? I can change my avatar with ease but haven't figured out how to add a picture to a thread.

When you hit reply, or start a thread, there is a little paperclip next to the smiley face on the control bar above your post.

Press that.

It will bring up a seperate window that you can "Browse" your hard drive and "upload" the pictures.

If the picture is too large, you can do two things.

1) You can resize it to the allowable image from someplace like Dr. Picture

2) You can web host the image through Photoshack or Photobucket and then they will give you link to the image to just cut and paste into your post.

In any event, when you first upload the photos, you won't be able to see them until you press preview post.

If you are a brand new member, images have to be viewed and okayed by one of the Mods before they are uploaded to keep spam down to a minimum.

PM me if you have any problems...

JD

5. That will bring up a pop up window that is where you choose your files to upload. On this window you are going to want to click “THE BROWSE BUTTON”

6. Clicking browse will bring you to yet another window. You will navigate to your pictures and chose the one you want to attach. Once you find your picture you just double click it and then click open.

7. Now that takes you back to your “MANAGE ATTACHMENTS” window but you will notice that there is text in the first text box. CLICK the UPLOAD button.

8. CLICK close window when done uploading pictures.

9. If you have more than one picture to upload you need to repeat steps 4 threw 7 until you have uploaded all your pictures. BEWARE THE LIMIT is 5 pictures.

At the top of the page in the same bar as "New Posts", to the far left you will see "User CP". Click on that and it will take you to your user control panel. On the left you will see a list of options, one being "Edit Avatar". Click on that and you will be presented with a page which allows you to add or change your avatar.

Good Luck!

DefaultWhat is the movie of the year?

Well, I think there are at least two movies deserving this title. These are Terminator 4 and Transformers 2. What do you think?

P.S. To moderators: sorry for possible writing to a wrong category but I didn't find any other category for general chat.
