DefaultYugoslavian Mauser

I just purchased a Yugoslavian M48 Mauser. I notice that it doesn't have an import stamp on it that I can see. Is that unusual or isn't it require for this rifle.

I believe this is a part of the 1968 Gun Control Act. Imported firearms must be stamped with the importer's name. Imported parts do not. If your rifle was imported prior to '68 it will not be stamped.
