I have one of those beauties, serial number on mine dates to 1911 to 1915 I believe.
This gun was passed down from my Grandfather, I remember it being behind Grandpas door when I was a kid, but I remember the barrel being longer, I am sure someone cut it in the past.
My dad gave it to me a few years ago, it will go on down the line to my son,
and then his.
Isn't that what we are supposed to do???
