Default Will 1903 S.Clips work in the Yugo

Will 1903 Stripper Clips work in the Yugo M24/47 Mauser actioned Rifle?
I ask because I've found a substantial amount of .30-06 stripper clips, and since the 1903 was patterned after the K98, and the m24 Kinda sorta has similarities to the K98.... I was curious if they'll work before I purchase them and Manufacture M.O.L.L.E./P.A.L.S. pouches for them.

Thanks for all ya'll's help

I don't know about the M24/47, but the stripper clips for my K98k Mauser are different from the stripper clips for the 1903. The bullet base/rim diameters are essentially the same, but the Mauser strippers are narrower in width, and will not fit well in the stripper clip cut-out in the 1903 receiver. And the 1903 strippers are too wide to fit in the K98k reciever slot.

Swedish Mauser stripper clips on the other hand are the better choice for the 1903.

I have a bunch of extra Mauser stripper clips (that I bought when I thought that they would also work in my 1903's), I'd be happy to trade you some of my Mauser strippers for some of your 1903 stripper clips.

Send me a PM if you are interested.

Actually I didn't pick em up
good thing too, because, they had 308 stripperclips for loading lr308 mags and such, and 30-06 bandoliers(loaded) had I bought either... i would have had to get a gun to use them with

I'll send you some 8x57 if you want them. They work in all my 8x57 rifles. Turkish chargers.
