Until last April, MNs seemed like the best milsurp rifles, but it must be the cheap surplus ammo prices which keep them in the limelight.
Actually, the '69 on my avatar is identical in specs to my '69 Chevelle SS, just a different color.

Supergun: "Roger that".

Pardon me if this is a nosy question, but do owners of your type/quality of LE often ask only about $250 for those at gun shows, where there were a few other LEs competing for limited buyers etc?

Or did you trade something for it, maybe trade plus some cash? My first gun show was August '08, which means being a very late-starter.
Regret not having discovered LEs (especially with the vanishing ammo) much sooner, despite the cheap prices for MNs and their surplus ammo. I just traded two sealed cans with 740 rds. of Bulgarian x54R + cash for 750 rds. of POF in the original black sealed can. One ftf in the first 31 rounds, only two very slight 'click-bangs'. "Insurgent bricks" don't care.

Really, really wish that I had discovered LEs (especially with the vanishing ammo) much sooner, despite the cheap prices for MNs and their surplus ammo. Personally, I found a vendor selling it for $275 and I got him down to $260 plus a sling and case.
