Why the ell would you carry a Torkarev? It's the same length...or is width your killer?

Well, in the event you miss the BG, you can doink him in the forehead with it.
Seriously, Jiro, for a gift, go with the CZ. Spend your own $ on the Mosin.

We'll the 52 would hurt a lot more on the bad guys noggin.
Yeah I'm going for the CZ 82.
There will always be Mosins...82 will dry up eventually.

Yep we're getting the 82.
We'll be spending 250 cash after shipping and tax and trouble for our shipper and deliverer (old family friend).
Which is cheaper than shipping to an FFL or buying it from the local gun shop for 279 so YAY!
I love the CZ...hehehe.
Who's got extra ammo I can steal from....I mean...borrow from them and send the brass back?

Our new CZ 82. Now that I've held it I can see several similarity between it and my brother's PO-1 as the slide is almost exactly the same at least in my eyes...just not internal...this one is external....I think at least.
This came with a sweet package
Takes 3 seconds to field strip

Now some posing shots

Here's the stuff it came with
A magazine pouch
A very very nice police belt holster
2 Magazines
And finally a cleaning rod and lanyard
I'm a happy boy.

Nice to see you're happy with what you have. Now, Classic Arms just changed hands. How long did it take from placing the order to receiving it?

2 days by air since pistols have to go by air
They were slammed with orders all last week. Luckily we got one in right before my birthday and it came in the night before it.
Now they have an online shop....but something worries me about that...like it's going to become to robotic. I got my CZ the classic phone call way.
Only cost me 260 after shipping and getting it from our C&R neighbor.

Good to hear there wasn't any delay in processing.
Maybe I'll order that Tokarev from them after all. And if it doesn't work, I guess I can use it to hit people over the head....
