What is this gun?
I got this old gun past down to me from my grandpa and it has no maker marks no serial number and it dont say what caliber it is and I was hopeing someone on here has seen one befor

It is a Lemat Revolver, not sure that it is all there, need some better pictures............

The only marks I found was a D with a star and the letters LS

It's not a lemat. It would be 8 shots if I remember correctly and the cylinder would ride on a shotgun barrel.

Looks like I was mistaken, it`s a Lefaucheux M1858, I think............Let me see if I can find a picture. it is still French.
