My M95 Austrian is one great shooter. But I couldn't hardly afford to shoot it if I didn't reload

Ain't no ammo problem for mine. I reload for that caliber. And my reloads don't have the nasty corrosive primers milsurps have.

I have had several of those rifles, both in full length & carbine models. I really like the stright-pull action on these. Ammo used to be easy & cheap to find, but seems to be hard to get, now. There used to be a shop in the Rockies area that carried these rifles & reloaded ammo for them. They had many hunters in the area who used them. I will try to " joggle " my brain to try & remember the name. An extensive search for " 8 x 56R ammunition " should bring some results. I no longer have any ammo.

And get yourself a C&R license so you don't have to pay a transfer fee to an 001 holder.

And to make it even better, Numrich, Midway, and Graf And Sons all have C&R License holder discounts!

That is an outrageous price!! I sold a mint 1917 Steyr carbine I bought still in paper w/ 400 rounds of ammo 2 years ago for $250.00. No en-bloks either.. A 250 round can was $80.00 just 3 years ago.
