After some further study and another look at the bolt I've come to the conclusion that it's a Chilean Model '95 version of the Spanish Mauser.

Here's a link with some info. and pictures:

The Spanish Modelo 1893 Mauser Rifle

The Boer Mauser had more taper to the stock and it had a bent bolt.

It was all wrong for a Spanish rifle. A German contract rifle. The '95 action is real slick. Have fun with her. JP
