I got AIMs email about them yesterday, Royal Tiger Imports has them for the same price, but you can get one for as low as $199 for one with a cracked stock.

I have an RTI cracked stock one waiting to be shipped, and a "matching number" one from Century Arms waiting to be shipped. The lousy east coast weather can't be helping any. I've gnawed my fingernails to the elbow !

Be sure to tell us how your experience with RTI is. I was gonna order the cracked stock one but then I read from several places that their experience with RTI wasn't the best.

Will do ! I've dealt with Classic, Century, Wideners, SOG, J&G, AIM, Firearmsforsale.com, but this will be my first RTI experience.

How is Century and AIM? I've heard mixed reviews about both. AIM has $169 Yugo Tokarevs and I'm looking to deal with Century when I get my C&R.

I have no complaints on any of these distributors. The only issue is shipping time, in my opinion. They are either very busy, or have a small staff ( maybe 1 or 2). Only SOG seems to ship quickly , in my opinion, but I'm working on a small sampling of purchases.

I've purchased from both. As long as you understand you're getting a used (in some cases very used) firearm, the products are what they are.

I wonder: Are the cracked stocks repaired or still cracked (falling apart)? My Swedish Mauser had a cracked stock, but it was professionally repaired by Swedish armory. The rifle is a fine shooter, but suffers just a little cosmetically and my uncle got a break on the price on it.

Can't tell . Occasionally a cracked stock isn't cracked at all. A few have been unrepairable. I had one that was cracked in two places, but was shootable. I keep my eyes open for decent take-off stocks, just in case. I have one in my gun case now ( $11 + shipping) in case I need it. My RTI cracked stock one has shipped and will arrive next Wednesday. I'll let you know, especially if it's a pristine Izzy !
