I THINK they're both about the same, quality-wise.

It's a good idea to use light ball in them.

I have the Yugo. And it works great, after the cosmoline is all gone. I picked this over the CZ and Russian 8 round for the Yugo's 9 round cap. Not sure what the Romy holds.

i'm not sure about quality. both have the add-on safety, thanks to the batfe. i got the romy; from what i understand, yugo weaponry doesn't have chrome-plated bores...something about tito's tiff with the soviets...at any rate, the romy's do. i prefered the extra corrosion resistance.

Outstanding handguns, I own the Romy's which eat anything I feed them, i've had issues with my CZ52 feeding bulgarian.

The Yugo as stated is 9 shot instead of the standard 8 shot, Magazines may be harder and pricer when you find them. As Budman stated, i don't think Yugo's are chrome lined so cleaning immediately after shooting will be necessary.

They are a great valve and a good firearm, get a few while they're still around.
