The last three, I believe, are specs on a 43 Egyptian. Can anyone confirm this? I want to do a chamber cast and this is the best I have found for comparison. I think what I need to pick up is the book, "cartridges of the world"....yes - no?

Thanks hiwall. Tell me, do you reload your own ammo for these rifles and if so is there a "go to" reloading manual you use?

If you load black powder all you do is fill the case with just enough room for the bullet.

I use the .44-77 loading data reduced by 10%. I shoot paper patched bullets as that is what they are chambered for.

Thanks for the info. I keep hearing and reading about pressures and didn't know just how much pressure a #1 can take. Are you using 3F for your cartridges?
