Wow I thought I could complain about the cost of ammunition before. You said it was like a 30-06 with a rounded bullet so could I buy 30-06 casings and make my own for cheaper?

Yes, you would just reform the case. W/ a 220gr Round Nose you would have to start w/ .30-40 krag data. None of my manuals, not even Cartridges of the world has data.

What would I need to add/change on this rifle to make it a good hunting rifle? I mean I assume I would need to add a rail, scope, etc. What else?
