Now after.. Not much difference but notice the tiger patern on he wood. the pictures do not do this rifle justice. I did not have to do anything to the metal to make it look like it does. The finish is almost perfect. Even the gas cylinder looked good.

Thank you sir.. I have to agree that I was pretty lucky. I'm not sure how true this is but the fella who ordered it for me is a Korean and Vietnam vet. He's ordered quite a few of these rifles for friends over the years and tells me that they will give him the best pick of the service grades for that reason. All of the rifles I've seen that he's gotten in are outstanding shooters as well.

He's also my mentor for C&R. There is nothing this man does not know.
