Default Real curio: 03 springer semi-auto prototype

You probably will not see this gun at your local show. It is a 1903 Springfield converted to a gas operated semi-auto action.

Wow. Bet John Garand never saw that one. The gas system looks like the right direction rather than the run around they had in the 1920's developments of a semi-auto service rifle.

Very cool. You won't see one of these at your local gun show either.

Mondragon? Yup---always wanted one. Might as well want the drum magazine too as long as we are wishing.

How about the full auto conversions on the Lee Enfield done in New Zealand
and Australia? The Charlton looks a bit more interesting, but I would want
the Electrolux version just for the name.
