Question about old revolver value

I have an old Iver Johnson revolver that I believe is caliber 38S&W and a 1970s Taurus 38 Special that I would like to sell and am wondering what the values might be. Both are in absolutely excellent condition with no rust or other marks.

I want to sell or trade in these revolvers for a Sig 250 2Sum in 40 caliber.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Welcome to ftf.
Without pics (as stated) we cannot give you an estimate.
If you are interested in finding your own ballpark estimate you can go onto one of the gun auction sites and see what they are selling for. A gun is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Also If you are looking to do a trade or sell to an ffl you should take the average selling price on the auction and cut it in half. Ffls have profit to make and will not pay as much as a private party.

Also asking prices for guns on the net mean nothing, only actual selling prices mean anything. A person can ask whatever they want but things sell only for what someone will pay for it.

welcome from Wisconsin. There is one truth when selling anything, it's worth what you get for it.
