My father-in-law pulls off that kind of crap all the time. you either have to be in the right place at the right time, or have absolutley no life and plenty of time to hit the shops regularly.
Good find, I'd say you easily doubled your money, both guns look great.

Lovin' the Mosin but I'm definitely envious of the ammo collection...doesn't look like you'll be running out any time soon.

I'd say any firearm for $20 is a steal....... the Rossi .357 lever is a hell of a find too, been looking for one at a good price myself so I can justify having a revolver again.....I'm debating on getting one of Rossi ranch hands in .357.... kinda cool.

those ranch hands are bada$$...a nice copy of steve mcqueens gun in "wanted dead or alive" the bluing on these are just as good as any colt firearm..
i brought my rossi puma home this weekend & must say its nice the bluing is deep, the wood is also very good, but i dont really care for the top safety latch, kinda ghey...
very light weight, will eat anything i feed it,''no wad cutters'',holds 8,38's/7,357's in the tube & just as accurate out to 75yrds using handrolled.38spl. as my 1903remington
this is the only lever gun i own & would buy another without any hesitation
i'll post pic of the carbine when i get some batteries for camera

Yeah, I really like lever guns, great practical design, I just never got in to them. They tend to deviate from my normal collections of WWI/WWII guns and Asault style weapons.
