Is that Pakistani chambered in 7.62x51? If it is, don't run commercial .308 win through it or you'll F up the head spacing.

Thanks guys! It is in it's original .303 Brit . I like this chambering because I live in the middle of nowhere and getting ammo is easy (there are literally millions of Enfields in Canada).

Well none of our firearms have any import marks. Also we don't have any foolish ffl stuff to deal with. We have a PAL card with a picture that you flash at the gun counter to prove who you are (nothing is recorded) and immediately walk out with as many firearms as we can carry/afford

Amen to that!! I have an idea, now this may not be as lucrative as drugs, aliens, etc., but how about a smuggling operation where we sneak cherry C&R rifles across the border. Since Barry and Hilly and Eric they have dried up here, but looks like Canada is ripe for the picking.

As for the POF No. 4...the originator of the thread said the No. 4 was to Cannucks as the Garand is to Yanks...to any Yank who likes a good bolt rifle, the No. 4 is about as good as they get. I have used a No. 4 mk II to hunt whitetails here in Nebraska. Had never seen an animal actually tossed down until that 180 gr bullet whacked a nice buck.

More moose are killed here on our island with .303 Brit than all others combined. People don't realize there is only 10% difference in the .303 and .30-06

I read something once that said the U.S. 30-40 Krag was similar to the. 303 and laughed. It was a blatant copy of the. 303! I love the .303, and properly loaded I would be confident taking nearly anything in North America and Africa with it.
As can be derived from my screen-name, I tend to think cartridge development peaked with spitzer bullets and love these old war horses.
