great pistol! Polish Pounder. i pd $220 about 7 yrs ago and it is nice to have and fits easily into a pocket.

I just ordered one on Sunday on line from Southern Ohio Gun.($169) A friend of mine has one and loves it. At the range last month I spoke with a fellow C&R holder that has 3. He said he couldn't believe I didn't have one yet.

These well made/well finished pistols are a bargain at that price.
I like everything about mine except for the recoil and heavy DA pull.

Two common add-ons to the P-64 are - a Hogue rubber sleeve grip for the Walther PPK-size, and Wolfe spring kit for the trigger.

How are the triggers? How about recoil? I've got a CZ82 and a PA63. The CZ is a comfortable shooter, while the PA63 will wear you out since it's light. It helped that I sanded the sharp corners at the rear to prevent blisters. I figured the Random P64, being small, would be a heavy recoiling gun and I heard the triggers were mighty heavy. Thanks for the info.

Single action is OK, double action is not as bad as a Nagant. The grips are cheesy plastic that scratch the webbing of your shooting hand. My friend got a nice set of red waddle grips from Marschal grips. The hammer drop safety on mine is really stiff.(I'll work on it) It's no CZ-82,but OK for the money.

It is Not called the Polish Pounder for it's weight. That nickname comes from the kick. It does not bother me to shoot it all day but I have heard some whining from others. The 9x18mm is not all that strong of a round but in a small pocket pistol, it lets you know you are shooting with some power.
The pistol itself is made well and shoots straight with the small sights.
The Hogue sleeve relieves the kick wonderfully. I reload with 3grs. Bullseye powder, and that lightens it up nicely.
The design is very similar to the Walther PPK, but the Ammo is just a tick more powerful.

i disagree with leo216 on the double action trigger pull...much harder than my nagant! after five or six times, i needed two fingers to pull it...a call to wolff fixed that and made the magazine release easier as well.

i was impressed enough with the p-64 to order a spare...quite a package for about $200 on a c&rffl.
