@25-5,

I appreciate your efforts, but I would prefer to get what the rifle is suppose to have. I am building a collection of WWII weapons and I would like to stay as original as possible.

You would be looking for a Type 30 bayonet. It was used from 1897-1945, with the Type 30, 38, 99, and Type I rifles.

The reason for the Type 42 is that is what I saw in several pictures with the Type 99 Rifle. If you know where to get said bayonet, please pass on the info.
