No5 MkIs were only made by Fazakerly and BSA. There should be an F on the side of the receiver for Fazakerly, or a stamp M47 on the buttstock socket for BSA. They are all dated also on the left side of the receiver. These are neat little Enfields and very collectable. I recommend Skennertons book the Lee Enfield Story for a reference guide.
Don't forget there are a lot of faux jungle carbines floating around, just as there are a lot of faux folding stock M1 Carbines around. These guns were more rare, so some gunsmiths/dealers decided to alter more popular surplus models into these rare types...
