this is my most favoured SAA for use,a second generation 44-40 ,the gun is not nickelplated but super polished to this condition,no collector value at all, patent dates ,rampant horse and caliber markings are all gone,
the original backstrap is replaced ,it has the backstrap of a .22 scout with a flat spur trigger and an action like a swiss watch, the shorter grip in combination with a fully loaded cylinder give the gun a perfect balance, everybody that fired this SAA agreed with that
it fired thousand and thousand of rounds in this condition, but I have to look close to see any dragline
Can I have it?

thank you , I like my gun collection very much ,spend every $ I can on my collection, I have seen collections with only four guns in it ,but Double the value of my collection,in fact I know of one guy in my country that holds one SAA colt and that specimen has double the value of al my SAA colts together, not so long ago an original buntline was sold for $375.000,

Wow Reinhard, I am speechless. What an amazing collection.

I've got an old SAA Colt that I inherited a little while back. It doesn't look nearly as good as any of yours but I guess I should write Colt and get the info on it.

Thanks for posting your fine collection of masterpieces.

One thing I am having trouble with though is how you can "forget about" so many beautiful weapons?

thanks Troy,I love the 'been there' colts ,the colt letters are expensive, any chance on posting a pic?

I was sure I posted all my guns ,but after reading my post I saw I didn't
I simply don't have the place to display them all,not because I have that many ,but my house is not that big,so eight colts are locked in my gun safe
I geuss I can say ,out of sight is out of mind
