I have 4 mosin nagant rifles I have never shot. Question is after shooting corrosive ammo do you suggest cleaning the bolt in amonia water then hopps #9, just as you do when cleaning the barrel??? Thanks in advance

Sure, why clean only half of what you need to? The general concensus is that the water (hot water) is what removes the corrosive residue, not so much the ammonia. Gotta figure, if you're gonna strip it, clean all of it while you're at it. Hoppe's #9 is made for cleaning corrosive residue.
