I want either less corruption or more opportunity to participate in it.

I will get all its stuff out today and get pics. up. Basically it boils down to the fact that I have the box it left Ft Dix in and all packaging materials and the receipt and it hasn't been fired since it was done in 1953. Bolt face is clean and still parked, the whole shebang. Even still has the barrel tube the put in it still in place.
Have to get the box and all that out when the wife gets up. She will shoot me with it if I ruin her Sat Morning Sleep in! lol

In that case I'll understand if you don't want to remove it and ruin anything.

I got the rifle out and took some pics. Sorry they are cell phone pics. I didnt take the box and paperwork out simply because I am afraid of damaging them. Sorry.
I did try and get the bolt face in there, and the shipping tube is visible in the barrel as well. Also tried to get the cartouche on the stock. There are other numbers and such in various areas on the wood.

Hard to see some of the markings on there, sorry about that. This old house is kind of dark. Knotty pine paneling doesnt allow for good photography.

Glad you enjoyed it. My only real regret is, well obviously I cant fire it. I will find myself a nice beater for that though. I need an 03A3 as well. Lucky for me the wife doesnt really resist too much when I want the old stuff. We actually purchased this rifle because SHE wanted it. Im cheap! lol
