Towboater, how does that fine looking German Police P-1 shoot? I have owned P-38 pistols for years. That said I have never found a nice civilian holster for one.

It's a very enjoyable gun to shoot. I didn't have to mess with the sights at all. And appears to be unissued.

I think I'll try to get hold of a CZ52, cause my LGS has one for $299 and I post on Armslist has one in my town for $200 plus accessories and ammo

Z44 I bought one about a month ago. I had no need for it but it was as new and no "Bill Board" on it. The gun and some ammo for $200 bucks.

The one at my LGS has no billboard either, not a factory refurbish, still has that beautiful parkerized finish.

zaitsev44,

i have the cz82, tok, cz52 and star super b...all are keepers.

what do you want...cheap, non-corrosive ammo? on-line or wallyworld, the super b (9x19) and cz 82 are a wash at $10-11/50; both have hp ammo commonly available, both are acceptable carry-guns.

cheap, fun shooting (but clean after corrosive ammo)? cz52, hands down...mine is a flamethrower, but for sheer ruggedness, i'd pickthe tokarev.

I'm not planning on torturing my CZ, I'm just gonna shoot it fr recreation and maybe a carry pistol.

I love the cz52 but probably not the best carry pistol. Too clunky and the x25 is by nature designed to over penatrate.

I'm also getting it to go with my military surplus gun collection, it'll be my first pistol in the collection
