I love these old rifles. It is like looking at cars. The new models are nice, but they can never beat the classics.

Get the SKS for the following reason. The ammo will remain reasonable in cost. The others are milsurp rifles, but the milsurp ammo will either dry up, or already has, unless it is a currerntly in use caliber. Several countries manufacture the 7.62 X 39, and the AKs may never die in other countries. 30 Carbine is at times scarce/expensive, 30-06 same and cost continues to rise. The 8mm is drying up, and 303 British, other than commerical, is also about gone. No ammo, ya got an expensive club
