Default Cheapest 7.62 X54R Ammo

I have been looking to find the best price on Mil Surp 7.62 X 54 R.

Aim has 880 round packs for $79.00 but wants $35.00 to ship.

Is they anyplace that has a decent price with resasonable shipping. I could ship my grandmother to California for $35.00.

Thanks, John K

Ha! Around here that 54R ammo goes for around $80 - $120 for a 440 round case.

jpattersonnh:

I might have told you once about "Joesalter", up in NH?
You probably knew about it long before my discovery in spring of '09.

Whoever was told, replied that "my wife hates you". Hate can be a wonderful thing.
The worse the reaction of a wife, the more rewarding was the find!

It's always nice to know that somebody has found a large selection of interesting classic guns, but please.....not before my first patrol at a
gun show.

zhuk:
My shoulders are skinny, and the recoil of my Enfield #5s seems no worse than with my original Yugo Mauser 48A.
The trick for me if standing with guns is to hold it with a "chicken wing". This seems to reduce the recoil. If sitting, trying not to lean forward helps.

Check out Copes!! 99.99 and 9.95 flat rate shipping!! I've been doing business w/ them for years. The last order I placed, about 3 weeks ago took 4 business days w/ their flat rate shipping. 109.94 for 440 rounds shipped. Order 2 cans.. 209.93. That price Rifleman posted is a single 440 round can.

Now that you have been bitten by the Milsurp rifle bug, you will find many more good reasons to fill up that larger safe. Just make sure that you get an "extra" large one. Congratulations on the M1.

I've got 2 safes and numerous locked cases w/ rifles. Bolts from the cased rifles are on the top shelf of my larger safe. They multiply like no ones business!!
